This is an assessment designed to test students' knowledge of the vocabulary from Chapter 3 in Geometry on parallel and perpendicular lines. This provides them with terms and also postulates and theorems. It gives them the flashcards to practice and also several other formats for practicing once they have been through the flashcards. This is a great tool for students because vocabulary is so important for Geometry.

In this section, students will work with equations to find the slope of a line and determine equations of lines that are parallel and perpendicular.

solving problems. I might also use this tool for students to review. I would assign a pair or small group of students to a topic and have them create an interactive presentation about it. Then each student in the class would have access to multiple types of review to use as a reteaching tool or for assessment preparation.

Youtube isn't something that a lot of students might initially think of as being an educational resource, but there are many videos that can be useful to them in learning concepts or when they need a refresher. Individual channels provide me with a place to post everything that we do in the classroom so they have access to it again if needed. It allows for my own instruction to talk things through to them even outside the classroom versus students having to read their textbook or their notes from class if they are struggling. It is also a tool students can use to create their own videos either of projects they are doing or actually create a video project that relates to the math content they are learning in the classroom. For example, in talking about slope there are many real-world applications with equations of lines and students could create their own videos displaying their understanding of this content.
